The Backbench welcomes contributions in three forms:
One-Off Article
Got a topic that you vehemently want to write about? Written a good essay recently that you want more people other than yourself to read? The Backbench is open to any topic and we’ll be very happy to consider your article for publication.
Please submit your article to editors[at]thebackbench.com along with a short blurb about yourself and where you are in the world. The article should be around 500 - 2000 words in length, although this can be very flexible. If you have any graphics or pictures that you would like to append to the article please submit these as well.
An easy way to contribute is just to CC us on an email that you might be sending to a group of friends. For example, people travelling abroad regularly email back home to let friends and family to let them know their travel stories. We love reading travel stories.
Graphic illustrations are also welcome, sendable to the e-mail address above.
Regular Contributors
Backbench is always on the lookout for regular contributors. Regular contributors must write to a consistent and high standard, with regular contributions. We are most likely to accept people who have some expertise to add to an area of life that is not currently filled by the Backbench team. Currently, we are on the lookout for regional correspondents from abroad. These are volunteer positions.
